Raison d’Etre: I just wanted a platform to share things that we found interesting each day.
All the social web tools (Digg, de.licio.us, etc.) are very cool, but I wanted the ability to personally highlight, recommend and briefly comment on a few items that I come across…whether they be web sites, blog posts or articles. And I chose to have my own little place to do that.
There are lots of brilliant people and witty writers online. I like to read some of them, too (you’ll find links to a few of them in my Blogroll). But that’s not my purpose here. As I go about my daily tasks, I make notes when I see something that really impresses me. This blog is my forum for sharing those items with a wider audience.
It’s my intent to make this a daily effort. So, if you like what you find here, I’d appreciate it if you’d tell your friends how you discovered so many cool little things to share with others! ;-) |
